Opinions on IT Stormerz

Our club -- IT Stormerz, suppose a club organized specially for our NIIT course student for their own benefits and advantages, but in my opinion, it has lose its objectives and aims over time.

For example, in last year's college orientation day, the club was not doing anything related to our field -- IT! This somehow disappoints me. I can feel that our club is going to be aimless and as general as other society clubs.

Another fact, in this year's Annual General Meeting held recently, some made me feels not satisfactory. Someone has been chosen as our batch's representative, but the one who had been chosen is seriously inactive in our class, and how he is going to get the latest news or info regarding our club despite our club is also very not active currently. Besides, the way the voting process was being carried out was not convincing and "official". The nomination of certain members were just simply ignored. I also heard that the positions had been arranged internally before.

These days, even the club's president is not attending the class oftenly. This shows a bad image of him and may affect the willingness of his classmate to come for the regular class. He should be more alerted on his own discipline and attitude.

My suggestions are:
1. Plan something to benefit our students in their study. This can be done by organizing visits to the IT companies, industries, or even factories to enrich our knowledge and experience.

2. Make good use of the resources provided by our college, such as air-conditioned classroom, computers and etc. I am just looking for something additional or extra from our course, such as computer repairing, hardware learning and many more which we cant study in our coursebooks. Please do not forget that we are IT student, all those things will surely benefits us in future.
